**What does this role look like?**

Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement\. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life\-cycle from capture to sustainment\.

**This role will offer you the following daily challenges:**

• Manages a team of approximately 6\-8 employees

• Expected to advocate for and execute to the program supply chain strategy

• Drives coordination with Engineering, MRP, Finance and Suppliers to meeting program goals

• Identifies opportunities and conducts critical supplier

engagements intended to drive performance improvements\.

• Responsible for quality and performance of supplier products\.

• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

**To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:**

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment\.

• Minimum 8 years experience in Supply Chain with an emphasis in contract administration and supplier performance management

• Excellent customer serviceability and problem\-solving skills,

• Must possess an aptitude for leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership\. These imperatives will be assessed during the selection process

• LMAP/CAP and/or FAR proficiency with an understanding of government regulatory compliance

• Proven ability to train, lead and develop Supply Chain professionals

• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action\.

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.

**Desired Skills:**

**To be successful, ideally, you should also have:**

• Prior Leadership experience is desired

• Prior experience reviewing, providing feedback and approving compliant subcontracts

• Experience with production programs

• Proven ability to negotiate and administer high value contract types, complex contracts and letter contracts

• Excellent working knowledge of SAP/ERP/P2P

• Ability to influence and inspire through teamwork and collaboration

• Internal and external customer interface experience
