The Jupiter program is looking for an experienced software lead to join our team\. You will perform technical team leadership and software engineering on a team to design, develop, integrate, and test software capabilities\. This involves working with leading software developers on the team as well as subcontractors, interface with other software teams and the verification team\.

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join our fast\-paced development effort and contribute to the success of a very challenging and rewarding mission\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Ability to perform hands\-on trouble shooting of Physical Channel Processor \(PCP\) issues

• Understanding of test environments

• Previous technical leadership of a software team and proven ability to coordinate with internal leaders and subcontractors

• Track to closure all PCP Discrepancy Reports \(DRs\) and tasks

• Manage JIRA Tickets \(subcontractor tasks\) and internal DRs

• Perform collection of logs for further analysis by subcontractor

• Perform initial log analysis of PCP issues

• Ability to create debug patches and execute tests to verify patches

• Strong Software Engineering experience / familiarity with C programming language

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Satellite communications
