**The Quality Engineer Supervisor is responsible for Targets & Countermeasures \(TCP\) Program Quality Management and site Receiving Inspection operations in Huntsville, AL\.** The selected candidate must be a motivated change agent, implementing continuous improvement, leading tactical Receiving Inspection operations, and supporting Enterprise strategic improvements\. The selected candidate is responsible for leading a group of Quality Engineers and hourly inspectors\. This position also includes the administrative activities required to support the inspection process including: Managing Inspector training/certification, maintain attendance and overtime records, prioritizing and planning workload based on program needs, supporting calibration requirements, executing area oversight duties for Receiving Inspection, helping with assuring adherence to service center and program allocated budgets, proactively interfacing with Programs & Customers, Labor Relations and HR\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline \(e\.g\., engineering field\) or equivalent discipline \(e\.g\., math, physics, chemistry, etc\.\)\.

• Leadership experience

• Demonstrated change agent

• Experience in prioritizing and managing team workload to meet program need dates

• Must have ability to obtain a security clearance

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Requirements

• An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing \(GD&T\)

• Able to identify and document supplier's quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action

• Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems

• Comprehensive understanding of engineering requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawing requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods

• Comprehensive understanding of AS9100 and AS9102 standards

• Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

• Must be able to multi\-task

• Effective communication skills \(both oral and written\)

• Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Program Management, Engineering, Quality Management, Sub\-contracts \(Buyers\) and Government Representatives

**Desired Skills:**

• Prior experience with Receiving Inspection experience managing and motivating represented employees

• Familiarity with Quality Assurance efforts in accordance with enterprise\-level command media and Program specific requirements

• Experience leading diverse teams

• Demonstrated "We Then Me" mentality, developing employees, building constructive partnering relationships with customers, employees, DCMA, and other business units

• Knowledge of root cause analyses methodologies and demonstrated experience in the development and evaluation of effective preventive/corrective action plans

• Experience in monitoring and maintaining budget allocations

• Demonstrated experience implementing continuous process improvements

• Strong understanding of SAP and Procure to Pay \(P2P\) business systems
