The Procurement Analyst II serves as the liaison between the line of business and the  Procurement Department. The Procurement Analyst II role will primarily evaluate and analyze potential vendor contracts and prepare monthly spend reports. 


  • Reviews new vendor requests and reassigns tasks. 
  • Tracks and monitors the department’s inbox, dashboard, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Board for expired documents as well as other applicable reports – adds comments and update status.
  • Creates and monitors category spend and identifies variances and provides analysis reports to Procurement Manager.
  • Tracks and monitors contract renewals, terminations, and vendor compliance.
  • Maintains all contractual agreements and reviews vendor compliance.
  • Provides support to various departments and ensures compliance with all Procurement policies and procedures and prepares reports.
  • Acts as liaison between Procurement, Vendor Risk, the Finance Department, vendors and internal customers.
  • Assists with managing and approving of new vendor request including review of documentation.
  • Maintains Procurement prospects, sourcing and contracts database.
  • Assists with composing and tracking of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) to submit to prospective vendors.
  • Assists with the review of the negotiation of contract terms, KPI, and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Reviews and redlines Statements of Work (SOW), Master Services Agreements (MSA) and other agreements to identify potential issues.
  • Maintains Procurement prospects, sourcing and contracts database.
  • Assists in Procurement Department with other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience or three years of equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years related work experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate raw data into usable information.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of business processes.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, organized, and objective.


  • 3+ years’ experience in the Consumer Finance industry


  • Primarily located in office environment
