Sr. Channel Sales Rep Mumbai

Key Roles and responsibilities:

Responsible to drive Mumbai, Nagpur & MP Region. HPS-PMC Field Instruments & Modsys Sales, deliver AOP sales Target, Pre-Sales activity, Submission of techno commercial proposals support and concept selling to the customers and Channel Partners.
Keep a track on market environment including active competitors to attain prospective Account/Customer. Early identification of opportunities; Pipeline development. Opportunity management and Forecast accuracy in meeting AOP target.
Implement and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing Channel Sales activities. Serve as liaison between Channel Sales Leadership and Distributors.
Review status of projects and budgets. Coordinate schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring Channel Sales progress and for problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.
Work closely with marketing to create and implement customer programs. Help Honeywell be the customer's top choice by improving upon Channel Sales solutions.
Techno-Commercial understanding of proposals, Architecting differentiated and competitive solution, clear Value Proposition for the Solution to the customer. Creating Account Plan & sales strategies for all key pursuits by working closely with the LOB Leader , P&E , Sourcing team.
Work on continuous enhancement of solution to drive competitive differentiation. Spec-in Honeywell technical advantages & competition price loaders & disqualifiers in the RFQ by working closely with Vertical leaders & Technical consultants.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • A broad knowledge of principles and best practices in (Channel Sales) & Familiar with Channel Sales execution.
  • Have a broad and defined idea about the Field Instruments ( Flow meters, level, pressure gauge, temperature) Control system (DCS, PLC, RTU, Safety System) solutions in Process Automation Business/ Market.
  • Understanding & experience in Process industry, Thermal, Power, Chemicals, Pharma, Automobile and OEM/EPC Market
    Competitive intelligence / Cost-Modeling, Solution optimization.

Qualification:

– 10+ years of experience in Process Automation Market (End-user & Process OEM).

– BE in Instrumentation
– BE  in Instrumentation / EC & MBA (optional) can be considered

Primary Location:  (would need to travel covering entire Mumbai, Nagpur & MP)
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Travel: Yes, 90-100 % of the Time
