Technical Engineer II

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for developing and supporting customized and standard solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and system), and iterative refinement.
  • Seek out to co-ordinate with business on the requirement and to assist in QA testing
  • Define, communicate, and manage change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code
  • Ownership of all technical aspects to drive the project

What we are looking for:

  • Must have at least 5+ years of application development experience
  • The candidate should have working experience as a developer providing customization, development, enhancement, and support.
  • Experience in writing a technical design document
  • Good understanding and hands-on work experience in Core Java / J2EE concepts such as OOPS, Exceptions, Servlets, EJB, XML, JDBC, JNDI, and MVC frameworks.
  • Sound knowledge on UI components such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VBScript
  • Good knowledge in SQL, Stored Procedure and Oracle Database
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Working experience in Maven, Ant
  • Knowledge of development lifecycle, standards, approaches, and environment: Eclipse IDE
  • Good understanding of code versioning tool Bitbucket.
  • Hands-on experience in unit and integration testing
  • Involvement in post-production support and co-ordinate with the business.
