 The SME GLOBAL ISC Quality Leader has complete responsibility for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction at all touch-points with Honeywell to ensure that we offer products and services that surpasses the customers’ expectations for high quality offerings. (S)He will own end to end Quality for the business starting with NPI Quality, ensure Manufacturing Quality and meet all facets of Customer Quality.

The SME GLOBAL ISC Quality Leader will be responsible for maintaining ISO and/or other standard requirements for all plants/locations under his/her purview. All the key metrics for all the sites have to be met and will drive corrective actions for any deviations from the target and ensure implementation and sustenance of corrective actions taken. Shall lead from the front to showcase a ‘ZERO Defects’ culture. 

Key Responsibilities

Lead a global team across all SME sites for PMT.
Accountable for End to End Quality on all aspects for products and customers.
Work with business and engineering to device a Quality strategy for SME for products manufactured globally
Review necessary resources with management from a quality perspective.
Work with all manufacturing sites to drive quality metrics to meet/exceed AOP
Participate in process verification/ validation of products generated from Design/Process activities including FMEA, Control Plan, document reviews of product change request; generate reports if required
Improve First Pass Yield, Reduce Manufacturing Scrap and reduce warranty costs
Understand the product returns and drive improvements on products
Measure Cpk for Critical processes at each site
Approve Returns materials decisions and work on strategic warranty processes
Work with NPI teams and other related cross functional teams for a robust NPI launch
Validate test-strategies and work with Honeywell design-centers and Validation team to address validation activities for NPIs.
Create appropriate MOS for measurement and tracking of all Quality metrics
Perform Failure tracking, root cause analysis to identify trends and ensure implementation of effective corrective action
Utilize standard statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to determine product acceptance and evaluate process capabilities to eliminate product/ process wastes regarding quality.
Analyze data to identify top quality/reliability issues in SKUs.
Define, implement and validate process controls to avoid defective product escapes to internal or external customers
Work with a cross functional team to ensure that critical issues are resolved with minimum downtime for manufacturing lines
Initiate, investigate, bring to closure and document customer complaints by providing satisfactory results of problem root cause elimination
Liaise with various government agencies to ensure that the products meet the local market access criteria.
Able to Lead Quality Management System implementation (ISO9001) and other QMS standards and internal and external audits coordination as well as provide follow up on corrective actions implementation/closure driven from audit findings to eliminate gaps against the ISO standard
Ensure compliance of all quality standards at all times
Regularly update the quality leadership on safety issues from products being used, impacting either safety, or impact to bottom line, due to potential recall of products in the field.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations Management
  • Lean Expert and/or Black Belt certified
  • Managed a global / regional Quality function for manufacturing sites is a must
  • Minimum 7 Years of high-volume low mix electronics manufacturing experience Practical knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and other AME standards
  • Track record of achieving results in challenging assignments
  • Excellent business acumen to facilitate teams through end to end value stream activities. Results oriented with history of achievement against stretch goals, able to develop and deliver against plan.
  • Role model the 9 Honeywell behaviors to maximize the impact of changes
  • In depth knowledge of Quality Improvement Tools, Problem Solving Tools & Techniques – Six Sigma, SPC, 5Why’s, FMEA & Control Plans, Capability studies (Cp, CpK, PpK) etc.
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude that focus on delivering results; able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Extensive experience driving continuous improvement and process excellence globally
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Project management experience to manage multiple priorities in a highly matrixed organization

  • Excellent communication skills with history of influencing multiple levels of the organization.


  • Active participation on all aspects of HSE and HA requirements
  • Drive improvement projects / Kaizens across all sites to meet the productivity requirements
  • Foster the safety culture across the organization by identifying near misses and be role model on safety behaviors
  • Active participation on the Honeywell Accelerator activities by implementing and mature of tools like Built in Quality,
  • 5S’s, Coaching, Visual management, Gemba, RPS, 7 Wastes, Knowledge Sharing, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM according to position or department requirements
