In this position you will be asked to provide support for Strategic Services & Advanced Technology (SSAT) applications as a Systems Operations Manager on the Platform Management Team. The focus will be to drive, execute, and support practices and innovative solutions that deliver sustainable, stable, and mature operations across the Platform organization.

Strong analytical skills with both detail and big-picture processing; Self-motivated, well organized; Proven oral and written communication skills; Excellent business presentation skills are must haves.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understands compliance and risk management requirements for the supported line of business application portfolio and provides support for key compliance, risk reduction, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
  • Develops and implements best-in-class vulnerability remediation, patching and compliance processes, practices and metrics, and creates and maintains associated high-quality documentation.
  • Provides guidance in the creation, modification, and documentation of standards and procedures.
  • Exercises judgment in prioritizing work coming in from multiple stakeholders.
  • Builds strong relationships with application, platform, and leadership teams.
  • May assign tasks and/or project resources; provides work direction and monitors work progress and adherence to technical process controls/standards.
  • Identifies gaps in current technology and compliance processes and recommends changes to ensure SLAs can be supported.
  • Manages system operations engineers.
  • Drives adherence to Wells Fargo technical process controls and standards.
  • Analyzes highly complex regulatory requirements, building sustainable operating model to manage team that provides oversight on risk remediation, manage events specific to MRA, and also work with key application managers on patching, vulnerability management, and configuration.
  • Be an Evangelist to come up with new innovative products to drive operational improvements and resiliency programs.
  • Assures timely execution of several risk remediation efforts, compliance of policies across the portfolio of applications.
  • Understanding of application development, SDLC lifecycle, Agile practices are key. Be a change agent to drive DevSecOps practices in the team.

Salary range is determined by the location of the job.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 3+ years of consulting experience, solutions analysis experience or a combination of both in a technology environment
  • 3+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
  • 4+ years of compliance experience
