Vacancy ID: NF0005109 Position Summary/Description: The Family and Children's Resource Program ( FCRP ) is one of several programs within the UNC School of Social Work. FCRP supports excellence in family and child welfare services across the state by assisting county social service providers in the delivery of systematic, high quality services through training and technical assistance activities.  This position focuses on the design, development, implementation, and support of a new custom learning management system and associated web-based applications and e-learning modules. These tasks are performed for the Family and Children's Resource Program, located off-campus in Chapel Hill. Education and Experience: Proficiency in ASP . NET , C#, T- SQL , JavaScript, CSS , REST API , NET Razor.   SQL Server 2016 or higher is required.  Prefer experience in . NET Core 2.1 and above. VB. NET experience is desired. Front-end user interface or front-end framework experience will enhance the application. The person on this position needs strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills. Good Web development skills using current techniques and an overall enthusiasm for developing and supporting responsive Web applications using both existing and emerging technologies is most important. The applicant must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical staff and clients. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems extremely helpful. N-tier experience and knowledge of open source software, and SCORM or Tin Can API is helpful.
