Power and Controls Aftermarket Repair Supply Chain is seeking an energetic individual with strong supply chain, contract management, negotiation, and excellent business judgment skills for the position of the Senior Manager, Repair Supply Chain.

The position will encompass both strategic and tactical responsibilities while managing a team focused on maintaining strong global supply chain relationships while driving compliance to terms established within our supplier contracts (Product Support Agreements). The candidate will also partner and support a global organization and internal key customer, FlightSense, to drive overall quality, cost, and delivery for aftermarket repair and overhaul of critical aerospace components.__ In a highly visible role, competency in Leadership, Communication, Teamwork, Customer Focus, and Analytical Thinking are important to be successful.

This role managers 10 direct employees internationally, 90% is located in the Northeast area, times working may vary due to international customer need. Current work environment is hybrid. Time on site as needed, travel up to 30% post pandemic.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute critical supply chain and supply management activities to achieve 95% OTD and operational performance days in house (DIH) objectives
  • Achieve zero significant customer escapes and reduction of external customer escapes for both paperwork and hardware
  • Ensure Suppliers are repair-ready for entry into service programs and can sustain performance levels by driving annual capacity assessments
  • Support and lead Supplier Quarter Business Alignment Reviews
  • Negotiate and drive compliance for Product Support Agreements in support of commodity sourcing initiatives
  • Leverage opportunities to reduce cost and lead times in order to improve end Customer satisfaction
  • Lead Supplier Development and Continuous Improvement initiatives as needed with underperforming suppliers.
  • Partner with Engineering and Program Management to resolve technical issues
  • Lead negotiations for Supplier Flight Hour Agreements (V2500 platform) and drive annual reconciliation activity on Flight Hour rates.
  • Work with functional stakeholders (Aftermarket Program Manager, Technical Publications, Ground Support Equipment, Service Engineering, etc.) or existing programs to ensure supply base is meeting PSA obligations.
  • Manage all aspects of the relationship with select key suppliers
  • Improve process maturity for key processes within Supply Chain Management
  • Manage a global supply chain team across IATA I and III to support key customer service requirements.
  • Travel required up to 30% depending on need.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor___s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years___ experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident ___Green Card___ holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aviation or Aerospace experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Working experience in ERP system (JDE and/or SAP)
  • ACE Associate Certification preferred
  • Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs skills.__
  • Previous experience leading a team, direct employees or project management exposure.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management roles.
