Our Civilian team supports our Nation’s federal agencies delivering services to the Public and are responsible to provide core agency mission service along with obtaining critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of mission delivery.

Position reports to the Director-Client Executive position who reports to the VP Civilian and Shared Services. This position is responsible for cross functional product simplification support across multiple agencies.  Position works closely with the AT&T Sales, Product Management, Program Management Office, and other internal organizations to implement customer solutions and drive revenue. Position required to assess current product offerings, evaluate available catch products, sell customer on new solution, disconnect existing services, and implement new solution. Additional tracking and follow-up, research, and miscellaneous support also provided.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:   

  • Provides Product Simplification support and technical guidance to align product transition
  • Supports AT&T corporate vision to reduce product portfolio
  • Significant efforts required to assess current product offerings, evaluate available catch products, sell customer on new solution, disconnect existing services, and implement new solution
  • Additional efforts required to support corporate reporting requirements and correctly reflect efforts underway
  • Completes customer meetings, Network pricing & Equipment orders
  • Responsible for consulting with Federal government sales teams and customers to provide technical expertise regarding the design, customization, implementation and account management of complex products and services.
  • Analyzes customer requirements, designs and implements solutions using company products and services.
  • Designs solutions and provides technical expertise to sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation.
  • Understands, develops and delivers products/services/systems/solutions to customers business, information, technical and educational needs.
  • Contributes to unit sales plan through pre-sales/post sales technical consulting activities.
  • Completes internal meetings & training
  • In-depth, working knowledge of client business drivers, applications, and networking industry trends, including one of more of: wireline/wireless networks, cybersecurity, routing/switching equipment and protocols, SD-WAN, VoIP.
  • Maintains expertise with company products to ensure that the customer solution is functioning according to specifications.

Required Clearance:  Public Trust (#publictrust)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications/Networking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external cross-functional organizations and customers.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member.
  • Experience across the data, IP, and/or cybersecurity services.
  • Equipped to work virtually (WiFi connections, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:  Bachelors degree strongly preferred, Masters degree in a relevant area (Telecommunications, IS, Computer Science, MBA) preferred.

5+ years technical consulting experience.
