Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, and Oil & Gas Division is currently seeking a Product Line Manager, Lighting to join our team. This position is based remotely in Denver, CO, Pittsburgh, PA, Houston, TX, Cleveland, OH, Highland, IL, Roanoke, VA, Windsor, CT, Worcester, MA or at our Syracuse, NY location. If residing outside these locations, relocation to the Syracuse, NY market will be offered.

Position Overview:

The PLM is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the global lighting portfolio including the financial strategy, product development and marketing programs to drive profitable sales and margin growth for products in harsh, hazardous and industrial applications.

In this function you will:

+ Manage virtual P&L for the global lighting product portfolio to exceed financial commitments.

+ Recommend, develop and pursue long term growth strategy and objectives for Crouse-Hinds/B-Line/Oil & Gas products.

+ Identify and recommend new products for development and/or private branding.

+ Implement and effectively coordinate the product development process to insure timing of product introduction and acceptance in the market.

+ Recommend and initiate changes in current products and pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and profits in accordance with corporate goals and policy.

+ Maintain current and required knowledge of the marketplace to be thoroughly appraised of all new or modified product opportunities as well as developments that may impact products or ability to sell them.

+ Evaluate product success in the marketplace through internal reports and direct contacts with field sales, customers and distributors. You will recommend adjustments to marketing and sales efforts when and where necessary.

+ Plan and determine product pricing policy consistent to obtain optimum volume and market position.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

+ Minimum of 5 years of engineering, marketing or field sales experience with technical products.

+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse, NY will be considered. If residing outside 50 miles, candidates can work remote. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

+ Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

+ MBA

+ Electrical product industry experience

+ Proven examples of product development and portfolio management experience are essential

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $114,000-$156,750 a year.
