The WFA Financial Network currently consists of eight divisions covered by Division Heads. These purposefully align with the eight Divisions that make up the WFA Divisional Network, which are led by eight domestic Division Senior Managing Directors covering the following divisions: Eastern, Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, Pacific South, Southwest, Pacific Central, and Pacific North. The FiNet Business Development Group will be responsible for the leadership, business planning, Advisor engagement and retention, and recruitment of Advisors nationwide. With over 1300 Financial Advisors, FiNet enjoys the highest FA productivity in the independent brokerage marketplace.

The Divisional Head - Northern Division is responsible for growing revenues organically through the recruitment of experienced Financial Advisors and expanding the breadth of firm hiring within assigned area. Creates and executes business strategies, action plans and performance goals for assigned area. Identifies quality candidates, develop relationships with Financial Advisor prospects, determines best channel fit, oversees due diligence, closes Financial Advisor hires, and ensures effective transition. Drives brand awareness by effectively marketing our diversified business model and our value proposition to Financial Advisor prospects. Builds/maintains strong relationships with Financial Advisors to enhance FA satisfaction and retention. Develops strong partnerships with senior management to increase Financial Advisor hires across channels.

This role requires a “get it done” business-focused leader known as an innovative problem solver who delivers results. Success will be measured through driving net Advisor headcount and revenue through the acquisition and development of high-performing talent, growth in client assets and liabilities and growth in net asset flows in the Division. Growing the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, Wells Fargo Advisors and Wealth and Investment Management brands in the marketplace will be a priority, including differentiating against our competitors by leveraging the full spectrum of financial offerings.

You must have a proven track record for talent acquisition and development, the ability to execute aggressively against strategy and be sharply focused on delivery of specific business and performance objectives, and able to manage with sound controls and thoughtful risk mitigation. The Divisional Head will possess a deep understanding of the brokerage and independent business and be highly knowledgeable on the full range of services and strategies involved in serving clients and Advisors, including traditional, RIA, investment management, banking, trust, and planning.

The selected candidate will be required to sit within the Northern Division. Note - St. Louis, MO is also an acceptable location.



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of financial services industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, management, or recruiting



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to achieve business results and willing to accept accountability for achieving goals
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the brokerage industry: sales compensation, products, services, compliance, supervision, operations, and industry trends
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MO-Saint Louis: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000
CO-Denver: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000
UT-Salt Lake City: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000 Max: $195,000
