We are currently seeking an established IT professional to join our North American BOS (Business Optimization Solutions) Team as a Full Stack Engineer. The ideal candidate must possess an exceptional understanding of the FileNet P8 suite to assist us on our Cloud journey. This is an opportunity to work alongside other IT professionals with leading technologies to solve technically challenging problems. The successful candidate will also work with BOS Management teams to identify and roadmap the elimination of technical debt and help to strategically move products to the Cloud. The role holder must be able to understand the underlying architecture of systems and recommend design and implementation patterns. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Setup and Configuration of FileNet P8 Object Stores
• Experience with building integrations in FileNet using CMIS
• Develop and maintain BOS applications mainly in a Java/JEE environment
• Strong API development skills
• Work closely with stakeholders on new Cloud based products or features and improvements to existing products
• Provide Level 3 support for BOS owned applications
• Automate routine tasks where possible via DevOps tooling such as Ansible
• Deliver a Continuous Integrated pipeline, liaising between developers, business analysts and product teams
• Continue to improve BOS DevOps tooling and practices
• Be a mentor to BOS staff on Cloud Technologies

Requirements
  • 5 years of FileNet Image Services and P8 Administration experience
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Infrastructure or similar discipline
  • IT experience working in a fast paced, IT development shop
  • Top notch troubleshooting ability
  • Demonstrate a current knowledge of latest DevOps tooling and practices
  • Strong GCP (Google Cloud Platform) knowledge and understanding, alternatively AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Deep Java/JEE development skills with a familiarity of Spring Framework including
    Spring Boot
  • Strong Database skills
  • Working experience with WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic or Tomcat
  • Experience in containerization, ideally using Docker / Kubernetes
  • Experience in deploying to both a private and public cloud
  • Experience in automation software tools like Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experience of continuous integration tooling, ideally using Jenkins
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems, predominantly RHEL, UNIX / Shell scripting
  • Strong communication skills and documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated personality with excellent time management skills and a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment against multiple deadlines
