**Chemical Systems Technical Specialist**


We are looking for a talented Chemical Systems Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Emission Solutions Business Unit in Columbus, Indiana/your remote home office. This position will be mostly remote with periodic travel to our Columbus, Indiana site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Lead catalyst technology selection, sizing, and characterization activities for TI/VPI programs

+ Interface with system teams and EBU/PSBU teams to define requirements and translate them to component level

+ Interact with all major catalyst suppliers for technology development and selection

+ Partner with performance and integration teams for flawless program delivery

+ Work on multiple different catalyst technologies like DOC, DPF, SCR,ASC, TWC, OC

+ Work with R&T functions for next gen catalyst technology development. Support current product issues and VPCR


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Bachelors, Masters or PHD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemical preferred.

+ 2-5 years of prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

+ Prior experience in working with after treatment systems a plus.

+ Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
