Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Software Engineers to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of our National Defense as part of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. Join an exciting and new program as we embark to solve complex and novel engineering challenges.

Job description:

In anticipation of program award, we are seeking qualified candidates at various experience levels to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Software Engineer on the DARC program, you will be able develop, design, build and implement a ground based radar capability critical for our national defense. The successful candidates should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with an experienced engineering and program management team to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- 2 – 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

- Experience with Agile software development using scrum

- Experience developing unit tests

- Experience with at least one of the following software languages: C++, Python, Java

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Experienced with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

- Experienced with working in a DevSecOps environment

- Experience implementing scientific algorithms

- Security+ or higher certification

- Experience doing GPU development with CUDA

- Experience using messaging middleware

- Experience developing software that uses relational databases

- Experience with NoSQL databases

- User interface development experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript

- Test-driven development experience

- Ability to travel up to 10%

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
