Job Description:

Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are: Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking RF Microwave Engineers to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of our National Defense as part of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. Join an exciting and new program as we embark to solve complex and novel engineering challenges. In anticipation of program award, we are seeking qualified candidates at various experience levels to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As an RF Microwave Engineer on the DARC program, you will be able develop, design, build and implement a ground based radar capability critical for our national defense . The successful candidates should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with an experienced engineering and program management team to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- 2 – 14+ years of experience with a STEM Bachelor’s Degree

- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret

- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite

- Familiar with basic principles and theory of electromagnetics and Radio Frequency (RF) propagation

- Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance

- Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering

- Experienced with the design, analysis and architecture development of Radio Frequency (RF) microwave systems

- Experienced with antenna analysis and ability to model and simulate antenna performance

- Experienced with RF microwave transmitter design and architecture

- Experienced with RF microwave receiver design and architecture

- Experienced with timing infrastructure design and architecture

- Experienced with ground based radar systems

- Hands on experience with RF test equipment like spectrum / network analyzers and waveform generators

- Hands on experience with RF microwave component integration and test

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
