Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are: Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Network Engineers to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of our National Defense as part of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. Join an exciting and new program as we embark to solve complex and novel engineering challenges. In anticipation of program award, we are seeking qualified candidates at various experience levels to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Description:

As a Network Engineer on the DARC program, you will be able develop, design, build and implement a ground based radar capability critical for our national defense. The successful candidates should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with an experienced engineering and program management team to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret

- 2 – 14 years of experience with a Bachelor’s of Science in STEM Field

- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite

- DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)

- Ability to perform network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls

- Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance

- Experience using protocol analyzers/sniffers (such as Wireshark or Solarwinds)

- Knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications and routing protocols, and network traffic analysis

- Understanding of standard DOD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts

- Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF

- Experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs

- Hands on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Cisco and Juniper)

- Industry vendor certifications from Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE), from Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP) a plus

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
