Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are: Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Hardware Engineers to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of our National Defense as part of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. Join an exciting and new program as we embark to solve complex and novel engineering challenges. In anticipation of program award, we are seeking qualified candidates at various experience levels to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Description:

As a Hardware Engineer on the DARC program, you will be able develop, design, build and implement a ground based radar capability critical for our national defense. The s uccessful candidates should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with an experienced engineering and program management team to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret

- 2 – 14 years of experience with a Bachelor’s of Science in STEM Field

- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite

- Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance

- Experienced with the design, analysis and architecture of hardware components utilized within Radio Frequency (RF) microwave systems such as radars or satellite communications systems

- Experienced with the staging, integration and checkout of hardware components such as server platforms, networking equipment, network attached storage, digital modems, fiber media converters and visual display systems

- Experienced developing technical data packages and documenting HW baselines via engineering drawings

- Experience with the use of RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and waveform generators

- Experience with cable management and cable assembly requirements for RF and fiber optic applications

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
