This position will leverage advanced levels of analytics and strategic thought leadership to drive growth in AT&T Broadband and Fiber.  The priorities of this position is to help grow NPS, Net Subscribers, and EBITA.  The objectives and focus will be to help develop the insights and associated indicated actions used to form, optimize, and evolve our sales distribution model.

This position will be responsible performing program level analytics, providing insights on sales offers, promotions and pricing, developing insights on the competitive landscape, and developing a strong storyboard for insights being generated across all sales channels and markets.

The candidate will perform analysis on quantitative and qualitative data and provide insights/recommendations to stimulate action across AT&T Broadband and Fiber. This individual will be expected to work closely with planning and pricing teams, partner with channel planners and analysts to perform root cause analysis, and drive insights to local market leads to inform battleplans/playbooks.  This role uses advanced skills in the use of statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources to explain or solve a variety of business problems.  In addition, this candidate will be expected to work closely with CDO and the Competitive Insights team to analyze and understand hyper local competitive and marketplace dynamics impacting sales and subscriber growth.

This role can be in El Segundo, CA or Dallas, TX; other locations may be considered.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data, both large and small, to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions on customer behavior. Projects may include analysis such as: propensity to buy, customer segmentation, market behaviors and dynamics, sales quality, media performance, offer effectiveness, price elasticity, and customer experience.
  • Quantify significance of data variances applying an array of statistical methods
  • Perform analyses using test and control concepts
  • Develop reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.
  • Advise business partners with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Experience in a sales data analyst or advanced analytics role
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in sales analytics, strategy, customer insights, advanced analytics, big data, CX measurement, structured and unstructured data analysis.
  • Strong Excel, PPT and story-telling skills
  • Experience with Palantir, Python, R, Teradata, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong listening, written and verbal communication, with ability to clearly and professionally communicate with others
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, analyze and summarize data from multiple sources (experience with SQL preferred) with a demonstrated ability to translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Experience: Typically possesses strong understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills. Typically requires 5-8 years related experience in advanced analytics, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing.
