Requisition Number: 2021-293 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Neurosurgery 50003929 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER – ACADEMIC Functional and Stereotactic NEUROSURGEON The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) in Omaha, Nebraska is conducting a search for a full-time clinical academic neurosurgeon to join our highly skilled and collaborative faculty. There is clinical demand for additional neurosurgery faculty with expertise in the management of surgical epilepsy, movement disorders, pain, and spasticity. This opportunity consists of patient care, teaching and training, research, and ongoing programmatic development. Clinical or translational research interests are encouraged and strongly supported. Our neurosurgical team has long been recognized for rendering state-of-the-art, highest quality, compassionate care using cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree), who is board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has completed fellowship training in functional and stereotactic neurosurgery.
