  • Engage with the wider CBRE platform to develop HSW service solutions relevant to the client sector.
  • Being part of the account leadership that manages the contract relationship, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) to grow the business relationship and contract value.
  • Ensure alignment between CBRE and the Client to maximize value creation and ensure excellence in operational delivery through providing direction and oversight to enable the teams to positively contribute and comprehensively manage the fulfillment of our HSW commitment to the client.
  • Ensure CBRE QHSE programs are executed across the account for CBRE safe operations and to minimize the risk of injury to CBRE employees, client, contractors and visitors, property damage, or damage to the environment.


This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The 'Health Safety & Well Being Lead' position is a key role in developing operational solutions to deliver Account-based HSW excellence against agreed objectives.
  • Assess and review staffing levels and HS&W related services for the Client account with a view of optimizing resources and managing costs.
  • Review and improv HSW standards, playbooks, training, etc in line with CBRE standards, to drive consistency across the portfolio.
  • Lead and implement Well Being objectives across the account, drive improvement of the Leesman HSW Index, and support client's Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for pandemic response.
  • Review existing reporting to ensure meaningful statistics is provided to CBRE and the Client. Consider technology as a further enabler to support efficiencies on the account including Apps, handheld devices, etc.
  • Assess opportunities to optimize technology for effective organization, centralize reporting and tracking via the ISC Manila central platform.
  • Proactively work closely with the Regional Hub Leads, Functional Leads, and the operational teams across the account to review the content of the country operations to ensure roles and accountabilities are defined for HSW.
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators trends to develop corresponding strategic risk-based solutions that will improve HSW performance and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a resource to staff and internal Client employees as the Health Safety & Well Being Subject Matter Expert. Provide direct and timely advice and information to the management responsible for Client account in all matters related to Health Safety & Well Being performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.
  • Monitor health & safety regulatory compliance within Client account. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections.
  • Support compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable local laws and regulations, accreditation, and Client policies and procedures.

Preferred Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from college or university in a health, safety, or environment-related field. Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regional health and safety regulations is essential across Client account. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is required.
  • Experience working in any one or multiples of the following is essential: Data Centers, Banking/Financial sector, general manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, construction, heavy and facility maintenance and management, Medical Industry.
  • Any relevant qualification, experience and qualifications in wellness, health-related specialties such as nursing will be considered favorably.
  • People leadership experience and skills are essential.

Certificate and/or Licenses

As required by local enforcing authority depending on the location of this position. Recognized national or international professional qualification in Health Safety & Well Being management will be preferred.
