  • You will be a technical expert with responsibility for product and process application. You will ensure product integrity manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with labs and factory operations. 
  • Our team develops new or modifies processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of silicon based integrated circuits and sensors, and MEMS based inertial sensors and IMUs.
  • You will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes pertaining to fabrication of integrated circuits and assist with follow-on activities integrating the sensors at the next system level (IMU). 
  • You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/technologies.  
  • You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.  
  • Support daily production activities and drive improvement in a challenging environment.  
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide test and manufacturing support for MEMS based sensor fab and inertial measurement units.
  • Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
  • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
  • Assist development of new products.
  • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
  • Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
  • Test products & software
    Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 + years experience; manufacturing, fabrication, assembly
  • Must be a U.S Citizen due to contractual requirements 
  • Experience with RStudio, JMP, SAS, or similar software analysis tools.
  • Significant process engineering experience.
  • Experience with wafer fabrication processing or engineering experience.
  • Integrated circuit chip assembly experience.
  • Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.
  • Team oriented.
  • Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.
  • Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
  • Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
