As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be part of our diverse global team making an impact on our organization. In this role you will lead our team performance on the manufacturing floor and are an integral part of our management team at Johnson Controls. The Ideal candidate will have excellent planning skills, leadership ability, inclusive style and prior experience. At Johnson Controls, he/she will collaboratively lead, plan and supervise our personnel across our manufacturing departments.

How you will do it:

  • Maintain production levels at the lowest possible cost by using your expertise in Flow and Lean Manufacturing principles and methods, tooling and manpower to achieve profitability.
  • Ensure that operations are on an accurate and timely schedule and performed to proper specifications
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communications with all departments.
  • Operate within budget and contributes to the overall reduction of overhead and expenses.
  • Comply with EEO and AAP goals as well as strive to have continued improvement on employee development.
  • Collaboratively support Plant Production initiatives with inclusive strategizing with your team.
  • Lead by example to promote employee engagement and teamwork.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in order to create products at the highest quality and that are in compliance with established specifications and in accordance with scheduled completion dates.
