The Compute and Storage Engineering (CSE) Enablement Leader is responsible for the CSE tool portfolio (compute, storage, cloud migration, and hyperconverged) and Lab services. These tools enable our block, file, data protection, S3, cloud migration, hyperconverged, and physical server services for the enterprise. The lab environments facilitate new technology proof of concepts and product certification. You will drive our transformation to a Product Management Framework implementing Agile and Kanban methodologies for these technologies. You will provide strategic leadership and day to day hands on management of senior engineers, technologies, and environments.
- Set strategic direction for these technologies and ensure execution per roadmaps
- Collaborate across the organization to engineer, deploy, and maintain the CSE tools
- Meet business demand while ensuring enterprise governance, regulatory, and security requirements are met
- Manage the storage and server devices in our lab, including planning installs, de-installs, and lifecycle refresh
- Own application lifecycle management including Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC) for these tools
- Navigate through complex problems requiring a technical understanding of storage and physical server infrastructure and tooling
