This position is for Lead Software Architect with TITAN and UAM organization, leading a major NPI development program(s), and responsible for software requirements, architecture, design, coding, and integrations.  Additionally, This position is responsible to

 

·         Guide the development process and create artifacts that meet FAA/EASA requirements.

·         Engages with business partners and actively contributes to business growth and innovation.

·         Define Software architecture, interface, and integration of Next Gen Avionics for UAM Cert and demonstration programs.

·         Desired Key Skills: Requirements and design, Software architecture and coding, Model based deterministic system design, scheduling, and development, Integration, Certification, Feature Definition and Verification and Validation

·         Agile program execution and DevSecOps

·         NPI - Evaluate and suggest suitable technologies for product development, Work as interface between HTS and Honeywell chief engineers/Fellows and influence technical decisions. Principal author or co-author of multiple project proposals which were selected for funding.

·         Lead Product Technical Council - Accountable and owner of technical decision during product development. Drive decisions during PDR, CDR and other Compliance Reviews.

·         Strategic Responsibilities - Lead the technical contributions in the domain and provide inputs to STRAP, GSF and PAC. Drive / Collaborate on regional initiatives and pursuits.

·         Create Competitive Intelligence information, identify the gaps and work towards creating new products / features to make Honeywell offerings competitive.

·         Manage common processes and best practices - Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria within a related function/field. Generate, evaluate, select and implement solutions which are equal to the industry’s state of the art

·         Beneficial Skills

    • Strong Understanding of Avionics architecture, Product line architecture of Honeywell EPIC, APEX  and Next Gen Avionics products.
    • Aptitude to independently explore technologies, conceptualize and propose solutions and execute development of new products
    • Seeking proactive feedback for continuous improvement and Build relationships and collaborating with business partners.

YOU MUST HAVE

       Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in computer science/electronics/Avionics

       Minimum 12 years of leading product development, software design and architectural elements for real time embedded systems

       Working Experience in Automotive Autonomous systems development and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles systems engineering preferred

       Demonstrated experience in progressively challenging and responsible roles
