Develops marketing plans and strategy including promotions, products, and communications for Airline, Hotel and Credit Card Partners as well as Key Associations (across the travel industry, member associations, employee benefits).  Collaborates with the Partnership Sales team to develop compelling sales strategies - this includes an end-to-end approach for improving customer loyalty and growing customer engagement and driving reservations using partner insights, multi-variate testing, customization and competitive research at different stages of the customer journey.

 

Serves as the Marketing lead for Partner projects across owned communication channels (digital, CRM, social, app), Partner channels and third parties (paid media, ie. search, display, paid social, etc). Acts as the primary Marketing contact with Partners – engages during weekly calls, email follow-ups and during quarterly business reviews (zoom or in-person).  

 

 

 What you’ll do:

  • Develops marketing plans including promotions, products, and communications for Partners & Associations
  • Works closely with the Partnership Sales team to build strong campaigns and promotional plans
  • Provides clear direction for offer development and production of digital and print assets (manages process from end-to-end)
  • Works cross-functionally and collaboratively with other Marketing teams to implement Partner plans, namely placements & enhancements on dot.com (home page & bridge pages), CRM emails, app, social, in-location
  • Proposes and collaboratively implements new tools, A/B test, customization, personalization and/or targeting methods to increase Partners reservations
  • Educates partner on all appropriate Marketing opportunities and customizes them to fit the Partners’ objectives
  • Skilled in creating customer powerpoint presentations
  • Understands partnership dynamics to create and maintain winning relationships
  • Analyzes programs and adjusts accordingly to meet business objectives
  • Pulls promotional data to gauge effectiveness of promos & offers
  • Ensures alignment and correct usage of the brands at all consumer touch points

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years marketing experience, including developing marketing plans and implementing programs
  • Experience in Partner Marketing and/or Customer Marketing
  • Experience confidently presenting Marketing concepts & plans to Customers / Partners  

 

 

Skills and abilities you should have:

 

  • Ability to act strategically (developing a winning plan) and tactically (willing / able to implement the plan)
  • Confident and enjoys a ‘hands-on’ approach – working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Digital & CRM Marketing teams, Sales, IT, Ops, Partners/Customers, Agency Partners
  • Experience in leading omni-channel campaigns (owned, earned, paid).  Not necessarily, the main SEM in each channel (dot.com, paid digital, social, app, CRM email) but possesses a strong awareness of each channel and can recommend how to employ these channel placements for a winning 360° campaign
  • Ability to take complex, challenging and/or layered projects and break it down into smaller, actionable steps.  Requires conviction and determination plus a logical approach in order to deliver a positive outcome 
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations / decisions based on insights.  Data sets may include primary customer research, transactional data (revenue, transactions), promotional analysis, and CRM and dot.com test results
  • Possesses strong business acumen, storytelling & presentation skills required to communicate with high-level executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills
