Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage and lead technical aspects of a sales initiative
  • Work with sales to uncover and document technical customer solution requirements
  • Understand and communicate solution technical dependencies
  • Identify gaps in the customer environment that need to be resolved
  • Identify gaps in NCR solutions to meet customer requirements and communicate to Product Mgmt
  • Recommend appropriate implementation options - on premise, SaaS, NCR as a Service
  • Organize and deliver complete NCR software demonstrations to meet customer needs
  • Assist sales teams writing proposals and delivering presentations
  • Sell and position solutions at all levels of the customer organization - know your audience
  • Work with customers and NCR services teams to clarify and document project scope
  • Ability to travel 25-35% of time (once travel is Covid-19 safe) to customer sites across the USA
  • Ability to work effectively from a home office when not travelling to customer sites

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor'sDegreein a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to demonstrate technical credibility and a consultative approach with customers
  • Understand what represents best practices from a technology perspective and in the context of NCR's product, solution, and service portfolio
  • Strong vertical expertise in self-service banking - digital, ATM, interactive services
  • Must have a positive attitude, be flexible and have good communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in managing all aspects of a technical sale including discovery, demos, follow-up, competitive positioning, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5years of related experience focused on the self-service financial industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • Workingexperience usingC#,Web Services, REST, SOAP
  • Knowledge of Docker and container management systems like Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of major cloud provider platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Ability to work under tight timelines in a demanding environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to take a leadership role in challenging standard approaches
