The Networked Information Solutions (NIS) Division of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Logistics Management Analyst based out of San Diego, CA.

Typical duties will include:

• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information bet ween point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.

• Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.

• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.

• Lead demonstration and IRAD property accountability efforts, primarily out of Rancho Carmel location, to ensure program and contract needs are met.

• Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below.

This position may be filled as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst or Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of experience; Masters and 4 years of experience. Professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

• Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

• Current active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher level) OR the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Verbal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills.

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of experience; Masters and 8 years of experience. Professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

• Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

• Current active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher level) OR the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Verbal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the avionics field, and/or military C4I systems.

• Experience with property accountability on government defense contracts

• Familiarity with understanding logistics documentation, e.g. Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
