This position is within the Smart Grid Solutions (SGS) division of Smart Energy.  SGS administers energy efficiency programs on behalf of utility companies around the country.  This role will be within the Rebate Department of SGS, serving as a primary team member to assist with high volumes of energy efficiency rebate processing. 

  • Receive rebate applications via mail, email, and online.  Count and sort applications accordingly.  Make copies of receipts as needed and scan all applications and supporting documentation into the system verifying that it has uploaded correctly. 
  • Complete rebate processing by data entering the information on the rebate applications into the software systems.  Determine eligibility and process in the system accordingly.  Run reports and conduct ongoing quality control/analysis to verify rebates are moving through the process correctly and are paid/declined accurately.
  • Print letter correspondence for customers as required and verify that all systemic validations are appropriately functioning.  File applications in the designated order and appropriate location.  Coordinate with internal teams as needed.
