We are currently looking for an Experienced Java Full Stack Developer who will support one of our project teams working on development of AFMx application that provides core functionality for creation of Airplane Flight Manuals. This application provides a fully integrated, computerized system for non-page based authoring, publishing, routing, and workflow management of Airplane Flight Manuals (AFMs).

The position will be located in Gdansk, in Poland office. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the work is done mainly remotely or in hybrid mode.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user requirements
  • Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools
  • Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years' of related work experience
  • Should have strong experience in object-oriented programming , Java/J2EE applications and advanced concepts
  • knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
  • knowledge in RESTful services / JSON
  • knowledge in UI frameworks – HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks Angular 2.x /4/5/8
  • Have experience in Cloud based development (PCF/Azure).
  • Have experience in GitLab / Gradle / Docker / SonarQube.
  • Experience in Test Driven Development (JUnit/Karma)
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management.
  • Good understanding of Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL.
  • Excellent Presentation and communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
  • Working exposure with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps is a must

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Aerospace domain
