Purpose of the Job:
Lead the gas service business across Benelux, ensuring that the priorities and focus areas are matched to the short, medium, and long-term needs of the business, and that the organization can achieve its strategic growth objectives.  The Field Service Leader (FSL) will directly manage the Service operation and actively work with the Sales organization to drive the Services business growth and profitability with superb customer satisfaction and safety record. 

Responsibilities:

People:
•Lead a team of Field service specialists (Engineers and Technicians) dealing with complex technical equipment and highly sophisticated range of products/services.
•Ensure the organization can achieve its strategic growth objectives through attracting, developing, rewarding & retaining the necessary skills and resources in the defined geography.

Business:
•Responsible for delivering the AOP of the assigned geography / region.
•Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
•Accurate planning and forecasting of business performance.
•Deploy growth initiatives within assigned geography to support the PMC services growth targeted.
•Be responsible for Manpower planning in PMC Services within the assigned geography.

Customers:
•Act as spokesperson and figurehead for the PMC / Services business in the assigned geography in order to promote PMC's name and capabilities.
•Customer relationship management.
•Understanding customer related CTQs and then driving business improvement.
•Coordination and delivery of a customer support program within the framework of established customer service policies.
•Own or support (as appropriate by PMC Global Services processes) the management and resolution of customer complaints.

Safety:

•Be a spokesman for safety culture and always promote safety.
•Meet HPS safety metrics for the assigned geography.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

•Direct management of a team of engineers and technicians.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements:
•Travel as required to perform the job namely Belgium, France and Holland initially.

Key Performance Measures:
•Financial: Orders, Revenue, Profit, Cash collection past dues.
•People:  Adherence to HPD processes; ensure direct reports have strong performance reviews & development plans.
•Customer: Customer Satisfaction

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s in engineering or higher college qualification or relevant job experience.
•Strong knowledge of the Gas (automation) industry with at least 5 years’ service management / supervision experience.
•Demonstrated business acumen including financial planning, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
•Technical knowledge/application of Gas metering and/or regulators.
•Ability to grasp technical and customer issues and turn into business actions.
•Ability to understand and convey complex technical solutions, hardware and software deliverables and technical and financial results/issues, internal and customer management.
•Strong growth mindset.
•Excellent market and industry knowledge and identify opportunities for growth in the market.
•Leadership & management skills – skilled in motivation and development of a team - sets high performance standards – provides constructive feedback – drives results. Planning and organizational skills. Customer relationship and development skills.
•Plan for skills development in the mid-term aligning internal competencies to business strategy, customer and market demand. Plan for future needs.
Fluent in English, Dutch and French would be a great advantage.
