Senior Product and Process Engineer
To introduce and improve manufacturing processes for new product introduction and VA/VE projects. Improving the quality and cost performance of existing manufacturing processes and to produce and maintain engineering and production documentation.
Your key deliverables:
+ Develop and implement manufacturing processes and associated documentation for new products (NPI) and VA/VE projects.
+ Analyse the performance and liaise with quality to investigate trends. Process control and variation reduction within processes.
+ Develop production procedures, processes, manufacturing documentation, standard works and play books.
+ Support and lead Cost-down / efficiency improvement projects to improve productivity and profitability.
+ Use of EATON LEAN SIX SIGMA tools as a means to drive continuous improvement.
+ Introduce SPC to support quality improvement.
+ Support employee training initiatives for NPI and upskilling.
What we are looking for:
+ A degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent is desired.
+ Experience of working in a machining environment.
Technical Knowledge required
+ CNC setting.
+ CAD drawing.
+ Lean manufacturing.
+ Problem solving.
+ Six sigma.
Soft skills required
+ Communication skills.
+ Team work.
+ The ability to present and inspire others.
