This is an exciting systems engineering position supporting the growing Space Security division within the Mission Solutions Line of Business\. Lockheed Martin is seeking a creative and high energy Systems Engineer to support a ground breaking new mission area\. Selected candidate will perform systems engineering tasks supporting a program through operations, using agile methodologies, and supporting customers interested in developing new system capabilities\. Program efforts will include requirements analysis, mission engineering analysis, test and integration support, CONOPSs development, and customer interactions\. We are looking for talented engineers who can deal with uncertainty and thrive in a fast\-paced environment and on a high performing team\.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems\. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, mission analysis, orbital dynamics analysis, test, installation, operations, maintenance, and disposal\. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints\. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• The ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment; to include development teams, product owners and program leadership\.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current Background Investigation

• Must be cleared to the program to start

• Willing to consent to polygraph

**Desired Skills:**

• End\-to\-end ground systems development experience particularly C2 or mission planning domains\.

• Scrum/SAFe/Agile experience \(VersionOne familiarity a plus\)\.

• Orbital Dynamics analysis experience

• Agile Systems Engineering experience, i\.e\. experience with running the operational system, writing system level tests, and working with the development team\.

• Experience with DOORS\.
