Currently, ManTech is seeking a seasoned motivated, mission and customer-oriented Design/Development Project Manager to join our team in the Washington D.C. area.  

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide project management in support of an innovative information technology services providing cyber security capabilities 

  • Provide analysis related to the design

  • Product Owners/Client and Scrum teams by guiding the team on how to use Agile processes 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external customers

  • Provide Servant leadership to ensure the scrum team attains the most value from a self-organized team 

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and events 

  • Work with the Product Owners for backlog grooming including prioritization

  • Ensure prioritization of features/capabilities with the customer to ensure higher priority items are identified and implemented first

  • Facilitation of technical discussions, decision making, impediment resolution and conflict resolution 

  • Perform continual assessment of the maturity of the Scrum team and providing coaching and insight in support of greater maturity

  • Commitment to continuous process improvement including active facilitation of reviews and retrospectives and incorporation of lessons learned for future sprints 

  • Continuously work with the customer to improve their processes and timeliness for Enterprise DevSecOps deployments 

  • Take self-initiative to remain knowledgeable and practiced in emerging cloud based DevSecOps technologies and trends

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience as well as relevant Experience coaching teams in Agile processes and toolsets 

  • Experience in user-centered design and user experience principles 

  • Experience in story boarding and using visualization tools for performance metrics 

  • Excellent leadership and listening skills 

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills 

  • Possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment; provide superior customer service 

  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of Agile processes, manage and execute backlog refinement sessions with Scrum teams, and provide recommendations based on metrics evaluated 

  • Demonstrated experience managing software solutions in large-scale complex projects (implementing systems enhancements including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem solving) 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Agile/SAFe/DevSecOps experience 

  • PMP certified 

  • SAFe 5 Program Consultant certified 

 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MS degree and (5) or more years of project management experience managing software solutions in large-scale complex projects 

  • Certified Scrum Professional – ScrumMaster 

  • ITIL4 certified 

 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Top Secret w/SCI 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer 

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
