Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics Engineer 3 (DMSMS) for the Logistics Support organization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

The candidate will perform logistics related analysis and maintenance planning of the GBSD platform. The candidate will influence system design to enhance supportability and utilize engineering data from various sources to determine logistics requirements.

The successful candidate must:

Possess the ability to apply logistics engineering principles and complete assignments to support team schedules.

Have excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, be selfmotivated, understand and exhibit a strong team work ethic and approach.

Work closely with other IPT’s (Integrated Product Teams), Design Engineering IPT’s, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Publication Writing/Editing teams.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

10% Travel

Qualifications - ExternalBasic Qualifications:

5 -9 years of relatable work experience

Familiarity with TO 005-3 processes and requirements

Familiarity with MILHDBK 1388-2B, GEIA-0007, and S1000D

Experience establishing product requirements, design of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment

Current DoD Secret clearance

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred Qualifications:

BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline with 59 years of relatable work experience

Proficient with 3D design / 2D drawing CAD utilizing NX

Experience with Teamcenter

Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical ICBM subsystems

Hands on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools

Knowledge in the development of SE design solutions

Military experience, with logistics support, with knowledge of multiple systems such as; end to end supply chain management, integrated logistics management, logistics planning and execution  is a strong plus.
