Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) is a global leader in providing customers with high-performance specialty materials, including fluorine products; specialty films and additives; advanced fibers and composites; intermediates; specialty chemicals; electronic materials and chemicals; and technologies and materials for petroleum refining. An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Human Resources Director in the Advance Materials (ADM) business supporting business located in Baton Rouge, LA and Morris Plains, NJ. In this exciting opportunity in a high growth environment, you will utilize your extensive experience in Human Resources management to significantly impact and support the ADM leadership team.

This role provides support for AM HR and AM Biz Functions. Provide HR support for the AM ISC Functions (Procurement, Supply Chain and HSE), while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services. You will actively engage in staffing, organizational development and talent management. You will utilize your HR functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with business objectives. Increase the overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with client groups

Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director Human Resources is accountable for partnering with business and functional leaders as well as with the HR organizations to:

  • Establish HR Strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations.
  • Drive and improve HR processes across all client groups.
  • Coach leaders on talent management, and performance differentiation.
  • Drive and deploy HPS wide HR procedures and policies. When necessary, approve and deploy specific PMT policies and practices designed to ensure compliance with the business contract.
  • Conduct organization assessments respond to employee feedback and develop action plans along with client leaders to drive employee engagement.
  • Partner with the HPS Staffing COE Leader to execute staffing processes at all levels within the business and develop staffing strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of quality candidates.
  • Partner with the PMT Talent Management COE Leader to deliver the MRR process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment and learning strategies, and leadership development.
  • Partner with the HPS Compensation and Benefits leader to execute competitive compensation, benefits, and reward and recognition programs.
  • Partner with HPS Communications to direct the planning and maintenance of communications.
  • Help build a strong global HR team that consistently exceeds organizational objectives. Drive organizational effectiveness

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in Business, HR, Employment Relations or Organizational Development or related discipline.
  • 10 years progressive professional Human Resources experience
  •  5+ years’ experience in Human Resources leadership/management roles within a global organization

  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others, particularly leadership development and coaching.
  • Ability to analyzed performance and reliability trends of product portfolios to drive improvements in project execution and on-time delivery
  • Created competency assessment for organization to validate delivered skills gap analysis and remediation plan
  • Strategic skills to develop and continuously identify and drive base cost improvements
  • Strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Aptitude to analyze of historical payroll trends to assist in establishing new compensation models
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
