ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Laptop Security Specialist -Level 2 to provide unparalleled support to our customer and develop an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

The Laptop Security Specialist -Level 2 shall:

  • Ensure laptops are configured in accordance with Laptop Compliance Process, or current regulations/requirements by either completing configuration, or by providing advice/resources of who can configure the laptop based on the office

  • Maintain the laplop security program, to include updating the system of record end/or ensuring responsible officers update the system of record.

  • Develop and maintain a program that supports and encourages I00% laptop compliance, providing options and standard operating procedures that account for mission requirements and a geographically distributed workforce.

  • Provide ad-hoc security administrative or communications security support, as required .least 5 years experience implementing IC and Sponsor security policies, regulations, and guides and successfully performing the full range of functions described above.

Basic Qualifications:

The Laptop Security Specialist -Level 2 must have

  • Experience in: operating system installation and security applications configuration in at least three operating systems: OS-X, Windows, Linux, in .an IT customer service environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience writing automated scripts in any of the three operating system architectures.

  • Prior work experience using command line instructions in any of the three operating system architectures.

  • Previous Information Security work with Sponsor to include knowledge of Sponsor computer networks, applications and accesses.

  • Prior work experience establishing a compliance program

  • Bachelor's degree in technology and/or information system related field.

  • Ability to travel between multiple local offices

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and comp
