The selected candidate will need a passion for implementing modern resources and digital engineering processes. There will be multiple responsibilities to include: hands on Digital Engineering tasks, interacting with design engineering to facilitate digital engineering tools, and developing a Digital Engineering team. The Digital Engineer will have strong interpersonal skills and will possess a strong attention to detail and will provide training and guidance to other engineers on digital engineering transformation.

An active and in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Radio Frequency communications systems and Radio Detection And Ranging (RADAR) systems

  • Ability to develop, document, analyze, and decompose requirements

  • Experience with systems engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques

  • Experienced with the following systems engineering functions: requirements development and management; Architecture Development; System Design; Laboratory Development, and various levels of product Integration, and Testing.

  • Experience collaborating with internal company, inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidiscipline environment to produce deliverable products

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with MATLAB and/or other tools to analyze and collect technical data

  • Experience utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and able to act as a Subject Matter Expert for enabling MBSE within the team

  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) Systems and knowledge of related performance characteristics to include interferometry direction finding

  • Experience with Digital Engineering to include use of MBSE related tool sets to include any of the following: SysML; Rhapsody __;, or Cameo / Magic Draw __)

Required Education:
8 years of relevant experience with a BS degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred); or 6 years of relevant experience with a MS degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferred)
