As a Facilities Mechanical TD Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining our state-of-the-art environmental controls, including oil-free air systems, HVAC systems, chilled water plants, boilers, and environmental compliance exhaust systems.

  • Supporting our safety, reliability, and environmental objectives.

  • Lead in planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications - everything that goes into supporting Intel's most valuable manufacturing facilities.

  • Validate system performance.

  • Collaborate with the site facility management team, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

  • Communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; from engineering peers to operational technicians to management.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 1+ years of experience in areas such as facilities HVAC, exhaust, chillers, boilers and compressor systems, chemical engineering principles, pumps, valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing or Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Attendance in an Accredited ABET program in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

  • Skilled in the use/application of advanced system modeling tools such as Pipe Flow and Computational Fluid Dynamics.

  • Familiarity or expertise with system capacities - available and on-demand for derivative and nonderivatized systems
