Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is seeking a Staff Software Verification Lead with an active or current TS/SCI Clearance. This position will be located in Dulles, VA and will support Tactical Space Systems Division in their development and deployment of satellite ground software to customer resources.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Successful candidates will participate in software requirements, verification, and analysis. The selected engineer will be experienced working in requirements repositories and model based system engineering.

The selected engineer will work with the test team to develop software systems and tools.

This position requires:

Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML

Ability to create and maintain requirements in DOORS

Understanding of testing methodologies to assist with the validation of test cases

Ability to derive/allocate requirements from high level requirements

Engineering software systems for safety concise environments

Generation of applicable documentation, software user manuals and presentations

Interfacing with customers, program management and technical staff

Problem resolution and improvement recommendation

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of technical experience OR Master's degree with 11+ years of technical experience

DOORS ( Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System ) experience

Prior database administration experience is required

An active or current TS/SCI clearance. (SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR - Dept. of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR - Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a STEM program.

Experience with Model Based System Engineering

Prior scripting or coding experience

Prior integration and test experience
