RVP Provider Solutions (Colorado) 
Location:    Denver, CO or within commuting distance to Denver.

Role
This leader will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for provider contracting throughout the State of Colorado with a benefit spend of approximately $4 billion in commercial, Medicare and Medicaid products, including local cost of care and trend management, provider contracting, implementation and local oversight of all types of payment innovation programs, and strategic provider relationships.
 
Primary duties of this role may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Delivers competitive cost of care trends in Colorado. 
  • Develops provider networks that provide a competitive advantage. 
  • Aligns contracting strategy with medical management strategy. 
  • Integrates quality metrics and incentives into contracting process. 
  • Serves as Provider Solutions local single point of accountability for all product lines. 
  • Accountable for achieving both state and enterprise Value Based Care targets for all products.
  • Accountable for achieving the provider network Cost of Care targets in the state for Commercial, Medicaid (Behavioral Health only), and Medicare lines of business.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. 
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 


The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and will be effective in establishing a collaborative relationship with the Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans.
 



 

Qualifications

This position requires a BS/BA in business administration or related healthcare field; 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations, finance, underwriting, actuary, network development and/or sales; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  Network contracting experience in commercial/employer group and Medicare required.


Preferred

  • Proven and demonstrated network contracting and negotiating skills and experience.
  • Medicaid network contracting experience.
  • Familiarity with Colorado provider market.
  • Experience in network strategy and design.
  • Excellent people leadership and relationship skills.

Annual Salary Range*: $192,778.32- $240,972.9

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
