Salary: $125,000 – $130,000 CAD / year

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for data processing and application development and operations
  • Leading a globally distributed team to design and implement Open-Source solutions in alignment with business needs and project schedules
  • Working with customers, discussing system requirements and specifications, performing analysis and providing cost estimates and timelines
  • Leading the coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics
  • Identifying the right resources and managing a team of developers to ensure all solutions are consistent, including the design, development, implementation and support of the developed Product
  • Partnering with the business community to understand the requirements, determining the training needs and delivering user training sessions
  • Defining and implementing procedures and guidelines to improve software development and deployment processes
  • Effectively design solutions, including managing and leading the teams through various phases of the entire software development lifecycle
  • Participating and conducting technical interviews, recruiting and mentoring software programmers and overseeing their professional development


  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field  
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with technologies such as React, D3, Python, Angular, Express, Node and 3.JS with strong emphasis on Semiconductor Manufacturing
  • Several years of experience in requirement analysis, software programming, CI/CD deployment techniques, database administration techniques including supervisory experience are required
  • Previous experience coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems
  • Previous experience managing a team of 5 or more members
  • In-depth working knowledge of Kubernetes/Container frameworks such as Redhat Openshift, Rancher and Open-Source platforms
  • Proven experience building applications using Microservices Architecture and deployment in OpenShift, AWS & Azure
  • Strong knowledge and experience building CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, and more
  • Strong experience working with RESTful & GraphQL API frameworks
  • AWS certification as a Solution Architect or the ability to obtain
