Raytheon Technologies is seeking successful Technician to perform a wide variety of technical tasks in the production/test environment. Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assemblies and may assist in the development of procedures. Selects, sets up and operates engineering and scientific test equipment. Observes, analyzes and reports test data, and when appropriate, makes necessary repairs/adjustments to equipment. Utilizes various engineering drawings, schematics, manuals and related documentation to perform tasks. Checks work for correctness. May assist in directing work, assigning and outlining tasks for bargaining unit personnel. Tasking may include repair and adjustment of: analog, digital and high voltage circuits.

This is 2nd shift and an hourly position with shift differential paid

  • 4 years___ experience testing and repair complex circuitry (down to component level)
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges
  • Previous experience working with high-level test equipment
  • Ability to multitask and think outside the box
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/ computers
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift position
Desired Skills:
  • Experience using a wide variety of electronic RF/Analog, High Voltage, Digital and other electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters
  • RF (radio frequency) experience highly desired
  • Familiarity with Insertion Loss, VSWR, Phase, gain, amplifiers, crystal detector circuits for fault monitoring, Analog to digital conversion, Up converting / Downconverting, Crystal/ SAW Oscillating, Multipliers, S-band, L-band and X-Band frequencies
  • Previous experience working in a depot environment on military hardware
  • Previous experience with testing product in anechoic chambers
Education Level Required:
  • High School graduate or GED with previous military experience and/or secondary training preferred.

  • This position will train on first shift (7:00 AM ___ 3:30PM) for 90 to 120 days then move to a second shift position.
