What makes this a great opportunity?

The Senior Creative Manager for Courvoisier Cognac is responsible for shaping and driving a creative strategy that will propel the brand into its next chapter of growth and premiumization. The Senior Creative Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for innovative campaigns and designs; bringing our products, people and brand to life across all channels.

They must have a proven record of translating business and marketing strategies into inspiring world-class creative that resonate with global and multicultural consumers. This will be achieved by partnering closely with the core brand team, identifying external creative resources and facilitating the creative process.

The ideal candidate should be a creative leader who can demonstrate experience translating a creative vision across channels including Above The Line (experiential, web, digital and social), and Below The Line (ON and OFF premise).

The creative manager will be the guardian of brand identity and will push execution standards and luxury credentials to the highest level.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to partner with many teams as well as external partners. This person must have passion, capability, resourcefulness and relentlessly high standards to help drive the creative vision for Courvoisier. This role reports into the Sr Director of Global Marketing.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Establish and own creative direction that evolves and distinguishes the Courvoisier brand, being obsessed with the brand’s purpose, consistency, and luxury vision.
  • Translate marketing, creative, and strategic objectives into branded assets that drive prospective and customer engagement, adapting to different channels.
  • Provide expertise and industry perspective where our brand DNA and positioning and meet with culturally-relevant concepts and campaigns responsible for growing brand equity and awareness.
  • Be proactive in exploring and suggesting design partnerships, external creative resources (agencies, artists, photographers etc)
  • In partnership with the project owners and core brand team, present multi-platform, multi-channel creative solutions and gracefully defend creative decisions to brand and corporate leaders.
  • Monitor creative output of the global team and local markets and ensure that consistency and luxury standards are upheld.
  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with peers and leadership

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Abstract-thinking with creative energy, confidence and self-motivation. Awareness of commercial and business constraints and proven ability to transcend them.
  • Understanding and past experience developing designs and creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline and print.
  • An aptitude to be a key partner in a high-level team of creative and strategic thinkers obsessed with brand relevance and luxury execution.
  • 8-10 years working in luxury lifestyle, category-relevant product or retail brands, both in-house and in an agency.
  • Proven track record of influencing up and across in matrixed organizations to deliver results
  • The highest professional and ethical standards
