As a Facilities Mechanical Technician  your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Complete a full scope of operations in running and maintaining facilities systems with a focus on mechanical systems working knowledge of boilers chillers exhaust and HVAC equipment a must and work across various facilities disciplines.

  • Work a compressed day work week schedule.

  • Support factory tool installs, de-install, and construction activities.

  • Cross-train in facilities operations and maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service.

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.

  • Install, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties.

  • Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  • Associates of Arts or STEM degree in Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or related field.

  • Military service with 1+ years of work experience in facilities, maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing equipment.

  • 1+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial mechanical systems operations and/or vibration analysis.

  • Proficiency in Maximo and ICMTL, SPEED.
