The H/O Central Venous Line Nurse will be responsible for helping to provide best practices for the prevention and monitoring of central line associated bloodstream infections. CVL RN will utilize sound clinical judgment and evidenced based practice to maintain central venous lines, educate staff as well as families and monitor patient outcomes.   


  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred
  • Current permit or license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
  • Minimum of two years of Hematology/Oncology experience is required 
  • Current BLS and PALS
  • CPHON certification preferred
