The Data Analytics Specialist is a key position responsible for data collection, metrics performance management and reporting activities within the Business Intelligence & Metrics team

The successful candidate___s primary responsibility is performing the following duties:

___ Perform data & metric performance collection from a variety of sources and merge them into a centralized repository that is reviewed by all levels of management ___ all while maintaining data integrity
___ Serve as a liaison / mentor to external suppliers regarding process health, integrity and metric performance
___ Interpret verbal directions and efficiently translate summarized data into business insight
___ Work in a self-directed manner to ensure all commitments and obligations are met prior to the given deadlines

Required Skills:
___ Minimum 4 years related experience in Supply Chain domains such as logistics and inventory management
___ Proven high level of competency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook
___ Some travel may be required

Desired Skills:
___ Demonstrated experience in developing key performance indicators and metrics, driving a culture to adopt technology enhancements, successful project management, leading process improvements, financial analysis of opportunities and creating effective communications
___ Data-driven approach with significant experience using metrics to drive performance
___ Experience in SAP systems with the ability to become a subject matter expert in ad-hoc reporting via SAP reporting transactions
___ Experience with some but not all of these tools: Rapid Response / Kinaxis, Tableau, SAP Xcelsius, Lumira and Web Intelligence, Microsoft Analytics for Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
___ Proven ability to interface at all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with senior level internal and external customers, peers and team members
___ Outstanding written and verbal communication; strong presentation and organization skills
___ Skilled at handling multiple competing priorities with the ability to set priorities appropriately and quickly re-adjust when necessary
___ Demonstrated high level of analytical skills
___ Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
___ Six Sigma Certification
___ Familiarity with statistical analysis
___ Logisticians Certification
___ Knowledge of FAR, DFAR requirements
___ Experience and understanding of Government contracts/process & procedures

Required Education:
Bachelor Degree (B.S. or B.A) in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineer, Technical or a related field.
