Use your wireless/RF engineering skills and experience to design and develop wireless products within Honeywell Buildings and Technology. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will bring value to Honeywell's wireless products by enhancing the wireless technologies and designs. You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • RF circuit design, analysis and simulation
  • Antenna design and simulation
  • Contribute on architecture and platform design
  • Testing & debugging hardware
  • Deriving RF hardware design requirements from system-level specifications
  • Generating technical documentation from marketing requirements
  • Estimating RF hardware design tasks, identifying risks, and planning development
  • Conducting internal/external design reviews
  • Leading or working with cross-functional teams on new technology development
  • Interact with internal and external engineering teams
  • Mentoring other engineers



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing Wifi and Bluetooth RF circuits 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in PA and RF module design
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on RF switch and/or RFIC/analog circuit design


  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems
  • Theoretical background in electro-magnetic (EM) and RF/microwave theory
  • Ability to work independently, as well as direct and coordinate work of multi-disciplinary engineering teams to assure the successful development of RF systems and assemblies
  • Understand the critical performance characteristics of passive and active RF components such as Amplifiers, Oscillators, Attenuators, Mixers and Filters. An understanding of how these characteristics relate to a communication system's performance
  • A working understanding and knowledge of S-parameters (matching networks, cascade analysis, …), Gain budget analysis (Gain, NF, Linearity, Noise power, …), and Filtering (types, bandwidth, implementations, … )
  • A strong understanding of noise figure/noise temperature (BER vs. noise, receiver sensitivity, and expected value and variance), temperature effects, interconnection (standard and non-standard impedances), and isolation requirements
  • Strong RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth and stability
  • Knowledge of IoT device to cloud communication and cyber security
  • Knowledge of wireless encryption technologies
  • Understanding of wireless project requirements
  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with EM simulation tools
  • Experience with Mentor Graphic CAD and simulation tools
  • Experience with agency certification, FCC, CE, CCC, PTCRB and GCF
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus familiar with MS Project software
