Provide technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product that meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. You will lead a team to identify ways to improve safety, quality, yields, and the capability of existing processes while also assisting in the scale up and implementation of developmental products/processes. Your core challenges include leading continuous process improvement to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the operation to meet goals established by the business along with providing technical guidance to the operations team to assist with process troubleshooting along with developing corrective action plans.

 

Key Responsibilities

·                Lead productivity teams

·                Manage technical documents

·                Develop scope of work plans

·                Optimize energy consumption

·                Technical solution development

·                Lead Root Cause Analysis teams

·                Use Six Sigma/LEAN tools

·                Identify process KPI/KPOs

·                Develop process control plans

·                Facilitate process packages

·                Process safety management system

·                Management of change system

·                Process hazard analysis capabilities

·                Risk management plans

YOU MUST HAVE

·                Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

·                10 years petrochemical/chemical industry within a manufacturing plant

·                5 years managing Engineers

 

WE VALUE

·                Certification in Six Sigma

·                Chemical, polymer, fiber manufacturing experience 

·                Significant experience with identifying process changes and hazards

·                Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·                Computer proficiency

·                Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

·                Significant experience scoping projects with business level impact

·                Ability to work without guidance or supervision

·                Ability to accurately identify patterns to problem solve

·                Experience with Management of Change process

·                Mechanical and Electrical Engineering degree
